How do I use androidonweb.com?

Once you download the application and install it on your mobile device, you should be able to start using it by hitting the Sign In in the top right corner and enter your google credentials. Make sure you sign in with the same username that is associated with your android device().

What's the username associated with my device?

You can find it by looking into Settings, Account&Sync screen on your android device.

I don't remember my password?

We decided for now to leave the authentication process in google's hands so you should go to www.google.com, attempt to sign in and click the forgot password link.

I can't find the application on the android market.

Make sure you search for "androidonweb.com", be careful to spelling. If you still cannot find the application it most likely means that your device does not support it.

I can't see my contacts, text messages, call log, gallery and/or location.

If you just installed and registered, make sure you wait a few minutes to allow the device to synchronize. Make sure your device has internet connectivity. androidonweb.com is still in BETA so if you still don't see anything, it must be our bad and we suggest you shoot us an email at support@androidonweb.com

How do I send a text?

Pretty simple, just follow these steps:
1. Go to the text message tab and click the compose button on the top right.
2. Type the number(s) or select the recipient(s) using the autocomplete feature.
3. Type the message.
4. Hit the Send button on the top right.

I sent a text but it did not get through.

Remember that androidonweb.com uses your device to send the text. This means it will only be sent if your device is powered on, has the androidonweb.com application installed and connected and has internet connectivity!
Remember that all these conditions must be met in other for any other action(edit/delete/add contacts, delete texts, delete from call log, etc.) to be successful.

Is my personal data secure?

The data transfer between the androidonweb.com and your device is 100% secure. HTTPS encrypted protocols are used for communication. As a suggestion, you should probably sign out from androidonweb when done.

Can I backup and then restore my device information to another device?

For now androidonweb.com is will keep your information safe on the cloud. You can consider this the backup feature. We plan to add the restore feature also in the near future.
